DOL Di Origine Laziale was born in 2005 from an idea by Vincenzo Mancino with the aim of promoting the knowledge and enjoyment of products from the Lazio region, as well as protecting traditional companies and artisans in the food and wine sector.
DOL directly selects food artisans on the territory, including those who still operate on the edge of family production, as they contribute significantly to the preservation of biodiversity.
Our philosophy can be summarized in four words:
RESPECT: We believe it is essential to respect people's time, the seasons, and nature.
SHORTEN: We want to shorten the distance between a big, noisy, and distracted city and its countryside.
REJECT: We reject the concept of food globalization, which has been imposing itself on people's eating and cultural habits for years.
HAND DOWN: The challenge lies in handing down the encounter with one's own tradition to the new generations, without presumption, without noise, and creating forms of critical, eco-friendly consumption with a low environmental impact.
